SOCIAL/RECREATION PROGRAM FOR PEOPLE LIVING WITH TRAUMATIC BRAIN INJURY In October of 2007, BFAIR opened its doors to a social/recreational program for people who experienced a brain injury. Meeting biweekly in North Adams and three times a month in Pittsfield, the program is one answer to what is a growing demand for leisure activities and social networking opportunities for this population. To date, structured group activities have included bowling, dining out, arts and crafts, gardening, card games, cooking and baking, fishing, shopping, and trips to places like the Butterfly Sanctuary in Deerfield. |
