Laura Baran

Laura Baran, Senior Director of CBDS and Employment Services, recently earned her Certificate in Nonprofit Human Services Management as part of the Class of 2025. This accomplishment reflects her strong leadership and continued passion for supporting individuals in community-based programs. 

Michelle Baity

Michelle Baity, MBA, SPHR, Senior Vice President of Human Resources, earned her master's in business administration from Fitchburg State University. With her SPHR certification and now an MBA, Michelle continues to bring strategic expertise and a people-first approach to our agency’s HR leadership. 

Tami Minck

Tami Minck, Vice President of Day Services, achieved a Graduate Certificate in Leadership of Nonprofit Organizations from Southern New Hampshire University. This certification builds on her experience and reinforces her commitment to innovation, quality, and person-centered care in our day programs.

March. 11, 2025 - (North Adams, MA) – BFAIR (Berkshire Family and Individual Resources) is pleased to announce the appointment of Ethel Altiery as Interim Chief Executive Officer, effective March 28th. Altiery, who has served BFAIR for 25 years, brings extensive leadership experience and a deep commitment to the organization’s mission. Ethel Altiery has played a pivotal role in BFAIR’s operations, most recently as Chief Operating Officer.
