Aug. 16, 2022 (North Adams, MA) – BFAIR (Berkshire Family & Individual Resources) is pleased to announce that Tara Jacobsen has been promoted to Director of Development.

Tara joined BFAIR in 2021 and in her new role as Director of Development will be responsible for achieving the agency’s fundraising goals through donor engagement as well as championing BFAIR’s annual campaign, planning fundraising events and grant writing.

According to Rich Weisenflue, BFAIR’s CEO, “In short order Tara has effectively developed a positive case for support of the agency’s Mission and why personal and corporate giving is instrumental in improving the quality of our services and the lives of people with disabilities who live in our community. With Tara taking the lead, grant awards have increased ten-fold and I look forward to working with her developing new partnerships, stewardship of generous gifts and planned giving.”
